NJIFF Screening | We Love You

*SCREENING @ NEW JERSEY FILM FEST

We Love You has been selected by the New Jersey Film Festival! We are particularly proud to be a part of this 28 year old NJ tradition that has hosted world-recognized filmmakers such as Martin Scorsese and D.A. Pennebaker. The New Jersey Film Festival is organized by the Rutger’s Film Co-Op @ Rutger’s University Program in Cinema Studies where Director Jonathan Kalafer studied film as an undergrad.

We Love You has two screenings as part of the festival. The first screening is October 4th and the second is on October 9th. Both screenings start at 7PM in Scott Hall #123.

Directions and Parking to Scott Hall #123 (Driving and Train)

43 College Ave., New Brunswick NJ. In addition to the lots mentioned below there are lots of parking spots along College Ave. and Hamilton St. Scott Hall is right across from the Grease Trucks. You enter from the Quad side (opposite of street side) of the building.

Take the NJ Turnpike to Exit 9 and then take Route 18N (New Brunswick direction) and go for 2 1/2 miles to the College Avenue Campus/George Street exit (immediately after the Route 27S exit) and make a left at the light at the end of the exit ramp onto George Street, then go to the next light and make a right onto Hamilton Street, then go to the next light and make a right onto College Avenue. Almost immediately on your right hand side there is an University Parking Lot (#9) which is made available for our patrons to park in. Scott Hall is adjacent to the parking lot on the right. Patrons can also park in Rutgers Lots #1 (next to Kirkpatrick Chapel) and #16 (next to Murray and Milledoler Hall).

Take New Jersey Transit to the New Brunswick stop on the Northeast Corridor Line. Click here for a walking map from the train station to the entrance to the theatre. Walk is less-than ten minutes from the train station.

If you are hungry before or after the screenings try the New Brunswick/Rutger’s institution “The Grease Trucks” right across the street (College Ave.) from Scott Hall. These trucks are most well known for their “Fat Sandwiches” which are various combinations of every greasy fast food and french fries on a sub roll. There are many to choose from; some of them have offensive names, some are vegetarian, all are greasy. Maybe they will roll out a special one with popcorn, raisinettes, french fries, and pork roll . . .
